Rules for Mediterranean Team Match League #1 (proposal/not ready)

This is based on the old proposal! This is not ready! Changes will occur!

THESE ARE THE RULES and some items may change before the tournament started. PERIODICALLY CHECK THIS TOPIC! 

(The Mediterranean Team Match League #1, MTML1, will prel. start officially on January 1, 2009, after which, no changes allowed) 

General Rules of the Mediterranean Team Match League #1

1. Definition: 

Mediterranean Team Match League #1 (MTML1) is a tournament played by Mediterranean Groups the 16 active and best ranked members. 

MTML1 will prel. start next January1, 2009 and should last approximately within 6 months. 

2. Paired Groups: 

The pairing board teams are made by the number of members and potential rating. According to data taken at November 1, 2009. 

3. Methodology: 

ROUND-1: 4 groups á 4 teams. Winners go for ROUND 2.

ROUND-2: 1 group with 4 teams. The winner is the Champion!

4. Match challenges and group classification: 

All groups, team challenges and dates will be determined by pairing established.

After the date of the public pairing has 7 days to accept the challenge and a total of 7 days to block the match and start the games. If a team refuses to play or does not meet these dates will miss the game with a score of 25-0 

The group will challenge, with the following characteristics: 

- "MTML1 Round1: TEAM A vs TEAM B"
rating limit NO / minimum 5 players / maximum 25 players /
2 concurrent games / Autostart off / 3 days move

Victory will count as 50 point, loss as 0, and a draw (in case of) 25.
Besides this will every single game in the matches give points. Victories will count as 1 point, losses as 0 points, and a draw (in case of) 0.5 .

5. The general rules and recommendations: 

Due to limitations in the case of a player was a member of 2 teams opponents in a game he/she will not be allowed to play in that game at all.

All questions, complaints, suggestions or ideas for improvement should be sent to the Mediterranean League HQ.

Any changes in team names or other information affecting the proper functioning of this championship, should be reported immediately! 

2 directors of each participating team in the league are encouraged to join this Mediterranan League HQ.
