But what I do is click on Home and Vote chess and see a column of all games as they are coming up for tallying. I do that several times a day, then also check New Comments on your Profile page, those are a good reminder :)
Add a notification icon for vote chess games

We could also each of us be able to program that notification to appear 1, or 2 hours, 30 minutes, before tallying, each according to their preference.
There have been a few vote chess games that I play in now where we have invested weeks of discussion and effort into our games and then suddenly see that they have expired we lost. All of the team playing didn't realise that we were out of time. I log in at least twice a day and check on everything, but the right hand side is spammed with useless notifications (I know I can elect to turn these off). Often I've noticed that the important notifications like vote chess as considered less important than notifying me that someone has posted a smiley face in the notes section of one of team pages. Not to mention the three separate notifications for any "news" post. Ok I'm off topic here....
What I want is an icon at the top of the screen next to my user name for when it is my turn to vote on a VC game. There is already a star telling me that I pay for membership (er.. thanks for that one), a speech bubble with a counter for comments left, friend requests, correspondence games, etc... So why not a vote chess icon? It would be extremely helpful I believe.
