Two Problems about Blog Posting

Hey there, staff, how you doin. Smile

I think two things should be changed about blog posting here:

1) When you save a blog but do not submit it, there's just no link to retreive the saved post. Just happened to me today, and I have seen another forum thread about this same issue so it's not only me. The material is there on the server, but there are no links to it in any area of the site (at least I couldn't find it) and you have to have the exact web address of it (find it in your browser's history, for example) to get back to it.

2) All edits by the blog poster adds a view count on the blog. I myself edit my posts a LOT to be able to adjust everything it to my liking (and the post writer/editor has its glitches here and there), and about 30 of the views in my blog posts come from my edits. Even the pre-submission edits (while saving & previewing the data) are added to the counter. This is very problematic because the viewer count is kind of like the elo rating of the blogosphere and it can be very easily bloated by simply clicking edit again and again. It is what brings you up in the top bloggers list and it is what we bloggers like to boast about. Smile Additionally, I think staff looks at the viewer number when deciding if a user should be added to the top blogger list or not.

For point #1, it's avialable right on your own view of your profile page under  "My Recent Activity" tagged with a big red Not Published.

Oh, there it is! Thank you. Smile But I think it should be somewhere on your blog page as well, that was where I kept looking and looking.
