About Me:
I've been playing chess since I was 9 and being my hobby ever since. My father taught me the basic rules and some of the great players. Before I found this awesome site, I couldn't play it regularly, since I rarely met friends who have the same hobby. I am not really good in theories, I just play it naturally and logically. I'm lucky to find this site and meet all of you guys, chessmania from around the world! I wish I can improve my game from now..
Now, after a while joining here and learn a lot from the articles, blogs, and my great chess player friends, I am still not really a fan of memorizing the opening lines. I just know (or maybe to be exact just interested to know) some of them, the basic main lines. After several first moves, I love to mix it with my own line..hahaha.. Sometimes, it's not come with a good result, especially against strong players. But, it's fun to do that! I mean, what's the fun to move by the book... It's just memorising, not really thinking... Well, it's just my own opinion, no offense for those who disagree with me.. :)
Other than improving my chess skill, through this site I found many good and nice friends (and still looking forward to find another in the future). But also, the awful ones. I found dirty politics and fake people in my first group. Well, it's not nice to talk about in here, so I just let it go. Just want to tell you the point we can learn, i.e. be aware when you're enjoying your game and making friends here.. It's like real life, full of nice people as well as bad, fake and awful ones.
But, we can always enjoy our game here and seeing nice people! That's the spirit! :)

Some days we forget to look around us Some days we can't see the joy that surrounds us So caught up inside ourselves We take when we should give So for tonight we pray for What we know can be And on this day we hope for What...Read more »
