CSC 2013 Round 2

All decisive games are finished in round 1, so now it is time to start round 2! There are still 2 ongoing games in round 1, but the same teams will advance regardless of the results, so we will start round 2 anyway. The teams that advanced from round 1 are Los Mollejoski, Bengal United, HORSEMEN & WOMEN, The Killer Derivatives, The Friendly Knights, Dan Heisman Learning Center, Team USA, Chess BayTVC and BULGARIA. In round 1 group 1 there was a tie between Chess BayTVC and BULGARIA, so both teams managed to advance and therefor one group in round 2 will contain 3 teams when still only one team advance. This is how the format looks like:

Round 1: 14 teams divided in groups of 3 (4 in 2 groups). Top 2 teams advance

Round 2: 9 teams divided in groups of 2 (3 in one group). Winner advance

Round 3: 4 teams divided in groups of 2. Winner advance

Final round: Winners from round 4 play for champion. Losers from round 4 play for bronze.
