Help us create Translation Style-Guides!

Hi guys!

In trying to make the best translation tools we can, we've been looking around at other web-based enterprises that offer similar features to find good examples of "best practices" we can use to help our translators here at Chess.com!

Facebook does something very cool in providing language-specific translator guides, and we'd like to review the guides for all the languages we're translating first, to see if the content would be helpful for our users as well.

Unfortunately, once you choose a translator language in Facebook (something most people never do), you have to wait a month before choosing a new one. So it would take us a long time, internally, to review all of Facebook's examples. That's where you (if you use Facebook) can help us out, big-time - and will only take a couple of minutes! Here's how...

1. Ensure you are logged into your Facebook account and go to this URL: https://www.facebook.com/?sk=trans_style_guide ; on the page that appears, select the relevant language for this group)

Note: This will NOT change your default language for Facebook pages - it's just for apps that allow you to do translation!

2. The Style Guide for that language (if it exists) will appear on a new page. (If there's no style guide for the Group's language, please just note that below, and thanks for your effort!)

If it does exist, please just copy the main text section of the guide, and copy it into a new comment below! That's it!
