POLL: The Scoreboard - Drastic changes or not??

The Scoreboard. One of the most unique things about the ARC. 

Hello everyone, SA Atomic_Rift here with a brand new poll. Unlike most of my newsletters I'll try and keep this one nice and short, so you can continue ending your relationships in Mario Kart. 

So there's been a lot of talk about resetting the Scoreboard. I'm not fond of the idea but do need to face facts. It's been the same thing with the occasional tweaking here and there for over 2 years now. Personally, I still like it. It commemorates the veterans of the ARC, but still rewards enthusiast newbies thanks to the Rank Progression Contest. However, I will agree that it would be a good idea to change it. For quite a fews days and nights now I've been contemplating the idea of giving the Scoreboard a game format. A game format that considers all factors (not just club matches) i.e. vote chess games. It would work like this:

Every contribute you make earns...

Why gain XP? To...

Why level up? To get...

...and work your way up the new...

Each time you level up it will get harder to reach the next level. 

Lv0 > Lv1 requires 10 XP

Lv1 > Lv2 requires 20 XP

Lv2 > Lv3 requires 30 XP

See how it works? Now... how do you earn XP with this new Scoreboard? Here's the list:

• +10 XP: Win a Vote Chess Game
• +5 XP: Draw a Vote Chess Game
• +10 XP: Win a Club Match Game
• +5 XP: Draw a Club Match Game
• +3 XP: Solve a Hard Puzzle
• +2 XP: Solve a Medium Puzzle
• +1 XP: Solve an Easy Puzzle
• -25 XP: Timeout a Vote Chess Game
• -10 XP: Timeout a Club Match Game

At every level up you will get a random food trophy.

• Strawberry
• Lemonade
• Cheeseburger
• Banana
• Coffee
• Tea
• Pizza
• Bacon
• Cookies
• Ice Cream
• Tofu

Last minute remarks about the New Scoreboard

1. At the end of every month the top 3 players with highest level will earn a special trophy. 
2. With the New Scoreboard there will be a lot more winners.
3. The format is more simple and easier for newbs to jump right in. 
4. If you have any questions about the New Scoreboard please feel free to ask!
5. THIS IS NOT RESETTING THE SCOREBOARD, merely revamping it.

If you are a serious chess player and is upset with how this is a video game format, I completely understand. You can look at this as how much chess training you've done. 

However, you must understand that nothing is for definite. Which is the reason for this newsletter, it's a poll! It is all up to you!
