ACP%20logo%20-%20new.pngThe ACP Golden Classic in Amsterdam was won by Vassily Ivanchuk with an impressive undefeated score of 5/6.

Ivanchuk beat Anna Muzychuk in the last round to seal victory by half a point from Gata Kamsky.  However, the games will not count for ratings because of the use of adjournments.

The time control was 40 moves in 2½ hours followed by adjournment, then an extra hour for 16 moves, followed by 15 minutes plus a 30 second increment for the rest of the game.

The tournament ran alongside the 2012 Dutch Championships at the Amsterdam Science Park, which was won by Anish Giri (see the official website for more information).
