Hey Mario, what is your new projected start date,, since your March 15th went by the waste side?

    SeriousaboutChess

It means 83% of all games in this tournament has been finished. Other 17% includes all games in 2nd/3rd/4th etc. rounds.

It still says only 83% complete.  I assume all brackets have to finish before round 2 begins.  Does anyone know if this is correct?

Nope, just waiting on Suvdumb the DA,, don't mean District Attornry.

Does anyone know how the start of Round 2 will work?  Assuming at some point the hold-up runs out of vacation and loses on time when will the next round start.  Will there be notice?  Does it start immediately?  This seems inportant given its a 24 hour per move tournament and I would hate to lose on time because I didn't check everyday.

Agree, Chess. Com is the only one that has the power to change the rule,, wish they would listen to the vast majority on this issue. Suvdum is one of many and that is why I deleted my initial comment. Has anyone heard of why Chess. Com won't listen to the majority and change this? I would love to hear the reasoning to keep it in place!

Guys, girls, I would guess suvdem is the kind of guy that enjoys the attention we are giving him in all these comments. He probably had a bad childhood and all, he's obviously decided to extend this tournament because he can. There is nothing we can do about it until Chess.com recognizes this kind of abuse and does something about it. So, we have to wait, it sucks, but oh well.

Igmar He had over 50 days vacation time. He is already out of the tournament. So he decides to go into vacation and kill our time. I bet he opened another account and playing chess there and monitoring our reaction here. There are some players in the live chess game like blitz or bullet games. When they sense that they are going to lose, they just ran away without resigning, killing their opponents time. suvdem must be a that type of player.
