OK Guys,we are now underway and I am off for a 27 day holiday !!! Only joking !!!

A HUGE thank you to all of you for deigning to play in my tourney.This is the biggest one that I have staged to date,so,please,be gentle with me !! :-) Irrespective as to whom becomes the eventual winner,you are all winners to me for having a go in the first place and you've made me feel very proud.WOW !!! What a great cross-section of players there is and,please,don't be intimidated if you are in a group containing a 'monster' rating,just play your best,no-one can ask more than that of you.Lastly,and by no means least,please enjoy yourselves and,hopefully,make new chess friends.

I thought we might have a little light relief away from chess whilst we are waiting for the tourney to fill up.Soooooo,put 'binocular soccer' into your search engine and watch the video that comes up.Hilarious !!! I was in tears by the end !!!

Only 28 spots left now so if you're trying to decide whether to enter or not then,please,have a go.When else would we,the 'lower' ratings,get a chance to play against some of the high rating players and when would they get a chance to teach us a few things from their chess repertoires? I have created this tourney for premium players only.Call me childish,but I don't see why I should use my organising time for players who,in my humble opinion and with a few notable exceptions,put nothing back into this excellent site.All my future tourneys will now be premium players only.Anyway,thank you all for entering,I hope you all have fun and make new chess friends.
