Thirsty-for-progress Qualifier 001

Hello everybody.

I'm pretty sure each chess player sometimes gets into situation when he (or she) cannot improve his (her) skills for a long period of time. And I do believe that fair tournament play could help to overcome this.

What I'm going to do is hosting of several qualifying tournaments to form a group of beginners (from ~1400 to ~1700) who want to do a progress in chess together. After qualifiers there would be a set of tournaments (invite only) and the rating range for each consequent tournament will be slightly increased.

The winners will be invited to special winners only tournaments. But of course the main idea is participation and constant moving toward perfection ;)

To ensure players' rating correspond to theirs level we have the limitations in 30 minimum games. To somehow guarantee fair play we have players with 4% max timeouts and move speed above average (< 12 hrs). To do tournaments less time-stressful but without blockers we have 5 days per move and NO vacations.
