In order to promote an environment that is as rewarding, and as just, as can be for all of our members, we, the United Chess Friends, adopt the following 'ground-rules'. These 'ground-rules' shall act as the guideline which governs our participation in the group; and shall apply to all without favour.

United Chess Friends GROUND-RULES

1. TEAM MATCHES - Play tough and fair to the end. Take vacation if you can before needlessly timing out, or easily giving up, games. The group's resources can improve your play!

2. VOTE CHESS - Play as a team. Read the previous post. Post your ideas for team evaluation if you differ. This reduces the chances of inferior moves winning the vote! NO DRIVE BY VOTING!

3. BEHAVIOUR - We don't suffer spammers, posting inappropriate links, and disrespect of ones teammates or others, etc. (Essentially the same as chess.com public forum rules.)

4. MEMBERSHIP - By joining United Chess Friends, and retaining membership, you agree to accept these ground-rules.

Anyone found guilty of breaking these rules will be banned at the admins discretion.
