1st Place Tie in Yesterday's Halloween Rapid Prize Tournament!
Saturday’s Halloween Rapid Winners (10/31)
The club wishes to congratulate FM Corey Acor (TampaChess) and Goran Markovic (goranm21) for their 1st place tie in our free entry Halloween Online Rapid tournament yesterday. Both players were paired in the last round, where their game ended in a draw holding each player to 3.5/4.0 for the tournament and a $32.50 Prize each.
Jayant Maheshwari (Flareblitz7) and Nelson Zhao (thechicken99) tied for 3rd place/U1800 with their score of 3/4 points, giving them each a $15 prize. Other winners include Winston Wu (f3e5g4) for our Top U1500 prize of $15 and John Bowman (jbowman512) winning our Top U1200 prize of $15.
We had 22 club players competing in yesterday’s CFCC Rapid online prize tournament that includes a chess.com results table listing all the players and tournament pairings. We look forward to our next chess.com Rapid 15|10 online prize tournament on November 14th that starts exactly at 2pm EST!
