Clear 1st Place Winner in Yesterday's Online Rapid Tournament!

Saturday’s Rapid Winners (10/17)

The club wishes to congratulate Jayant Maheshwari (Flareblitz7) for winning clear 1st place in yesterday’s online Rapid tournament with a perfect score of 4/4 points and a prize award of $40.

In the tie for 2nd place, Tampa’s Corey Acor (TampaChess) and Belarus GM Aleksei Aleksandrov (aleksandrovaleksei) battled for the top spot but their draw in the 3rd round kept them from a perfect score in the 4 round tournament, giving them a prize award of $20 each.

Other winners include Calcul8tor for our U1800 prize of $15, agrimjax for the top U1500 prize of $15, with Anderbot winning our top U1200 prize of $15.

We had 24 club players competing in yesterday’s Rapid online prize tournament that includes a results table listing all the players and tournament pairings, and we look forward to our next chess.com Rapid 15|10 online prize tournament on October 31st that starts exactly at 2pm EST!
