1WL Monthly Rapid Tournaments are Over

our first official event belongs to history and we can pretty much say that we had a decent presence. At this point I should thank everyone played for their participation & fighting spirit and congratulations to those of us who managed to give us our first points.

We may haven't scored a lot of them, since our opponents were stronger, having played more official matches than us, but we also gained some crucial experience out of it, for the matches to come. Here are the final results from yesterday's rapid tournament.

However, there were some sudden news regarding the 1WL Monthly Rapid Tournaments.. unfortunately they will be disrupted due to low participation, so no any other of them is going to take place for the rest of the winter.

Good news though, is that a Seasonal Championship is in the making, involving all three live formats (aka Bullet, Blitz & Rapid) and we've already registered our club! Prior to that, there will be some match-days on January for clubs' classification purposes by the organizers (Rapid on Jan. 15 and Bullet & Blitz on Jan. 29).

This means that next year's first Seasonal Championship should start anytime soon, with three more being scheduled to follow until the end of 2022, and every one of them is expected to last about 2 - 2+1/2 months.

That's all we know for now, so stay tuned for more!! In the meantime we'll have as much friendlies as we can to stay fresh and sharp.
