We've been accepted to 1WL LIVE Monthly Rapid Tournaments

Hello again,

things are moving fast these days, so I didn't have an option but to "bother" you once more, announcing some GREAT NEWS!!

Our Club has been accepted to participate in its first ever Official Event: the 1WL LIVE Monthly Rapid Tournaments, which are serving as a qualifying event for an upcoming Major Championship, estimated to take place within Spring time.

We start our first Official Tournament the following Saturday 18th of December with a timetable  presented in the following screenshot:

The matches will be visible soon enough within our "Upcoming Events" section!! PLEASE BE AWARE NOT TO LOSE THEM..

The tournament is of Open category, and we're expecting you to take place and help our club, no matter your rating, as your strength and chess understanding can only improve by taking place in such events. Beginners especially, should feel encouraged to declare participation, since they may only lose a small amount of Elo if beaten by a stronger opponent, but the benefits to gain are certainly much more!! That could be noticeable after playing once more, against opponents of the same strength.

So, beginners should be there in order to improve, but we'll also need our stronger players to give us a chance to win as many games as possible!!

There might also be a friendly match coming shortly (specifically on this Tuesday) against one of our opponents in Saturday's Tournament. So that would be a great opportunity for preparation. More details on that soon.
