3 Check Pro Tips (Defending)
Today I will be sharing some tips for defending in 3 check. One of the first things you want to do is to play e3 if you are white or e6 if you are black. This opens lines for your bishop and queen while not allowing for opponents bishop to hit f7 or f2. You also want to prevent moves with the knight that target f7 or c7(black)(f2 or c2)(white), so play c6 and h6 as black and c3 and h3 as white. You also don't want to castle as that opens many more opportunities. You don't want to play d4 or d5 as you opponents bishop will come and get 2 checks. Try not to open lines. Thanks for reading!
