A little love letter

Thank you, thank you,  thank you to all that came to support the chess tournament! It took a lot of effort, resources, and time to get this all put together, all the donations, supplies, and help that was given is what made this possible. Additionally lets give a round of applause to the library and Jon for all of their accommodations, help, and location for this event, thank you as well. 

Also thank you for the patience at first, I know round 1 started late and was a bit chaotic, but once the show was on the road the event was fairly smooth and had a really fun final round with the tie breaks. In the future ill definitely use some pairing software to make this smoother and more clear.

I hope the competitors liked the prizes, it was fun ordering trophies and medallions for the winners, plus the cash prizes as well. Next year I plan on having very similar prizes give or take the look and engraving. As for my prize, thank you to the competitors who signed my personal board! it'll be an awesome reminder every time I play now.

Again thank you all for being there! I do plan on having smaller tournaments in-between now and next year but in general id like to keep with the tradition of July being our largest tournament. ill keep you posted
