A superb start

It can safely be said that all goes well in our chess.com matches! The Mexico U2000 are well an truly defeated, 6.5 - 1.5 with only Martyn still playing means they cannot defeat us. Well done! James Silk has pulled our U1400 Mexico team back to the 2 - 2. Reilly is hammering into his opponent in the second game, 5 points up, and only Josh in on the back foot as a pawn is about to slip from his grasp. Keep going guys! It should be noted that this takes James well and truly over the U1400 mark so he moves up to the U2000 team next match.

In the U1400 DLB match, speed of the puma Byron played two tactical games against Osborn, nicely done and putting our team 2-0 up. His first match for the chess.com club in a while, its good to see he's in top form. Our Morriston U2000 sees us take our first two points as I defeated Andrew Smith in both games (though I wouldn't have liked to play on in the longer of the two - queen and two pawns versus queen and a pawn resigns). In addition, Andrew missed a disclosed attack that could have one him the game. Phew!

Our final match, the DLB U2000, has only just started so there's plenty of play and less to report. Give them hell.
