Well, we have made it to the last round of yet another tourney. The competition has been fierce and the standings show it. Some good games have been played, and the final round looks like it will have even more.

As we move into the final round, please take the time to complete a post tournament survey ... it helps us run a better tournament for you and can help us bring in more players.

The survey can be found here and should not take more than 2 minutes to complete:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FFXQNNW

As a reminder to everyone -

- All Round 6 games must be completed and posted by Monday, 26-Sept at 18:00 EDT (Monday, 26-Sept at 22:00 UTC). Remember this when scheduling. Also remember that you may be playing a player in a much different time zone, take that into account when you offer times.

- We play negotiated chess games. This implies that each pair of players must find a mutual, suitable day and time to start their game.

- You must make a good faith effort to negotiate. You must offer at least 3 distinct times in your offer to the other player. Just asking what days work or not offering specific days/times in not considered "good faith negotiating".

What follows are among the things that are forbidden and considered as cheating.

Using an engine.
Being helped by another person.
Using databases and books.
Testing variations during the game.
Behaving in such way as to disturb the other player, e.g., making multiple draw offers.
Any player who is found guilty of one of the offenses explained above is liable to be suspended, or even banned.
