Tournament #3 is in the books and I would like to thank everyone who participated, without you all we don't get to play.

The tournament came had some great competition and some of the games were very good. Some great play all around. Here are the final standings of each section and a link to the standings pages for each section below. (I will reach out to each section winner on assigning the prize of 1-month chess.com Diamond.)

Again, thanks for all who participated. After a two week break we will start up again with signups starting 10-Oct. The first round of the DHLC Classic Tourney 4 will start 17-Oct. Make sure you are subscribed to the group announcements/news/notes to get notified. Don't forget to tell your friends about the tournament - the more players we have the better it is for everyone.

In the 1500+ section @Karpov1a took first place with a score of 5.5 going +5/0/=1. Well done!

In the U1500 section, @Jamesnyman took first with a score of 5.0 going +4/0/=2. Good job James.

Coming at the top of the U1300 section was @greekindian, also with a 5.5 score going =5/0/=1. A strong showing.

And finally, in the U1000 section, @Sthews took top honors with a 4.5 score, going +4/-1/=1.
