CCC Fall Chess League Begins Friday!

On 9/26, the City Creek Chess Club is excited to be starting its first round of the Fall Chess League tournament! This fall, we’ll be seeing the return of Summer League winners, Mario Homer and Jason Barton! We’ll also be seeing the return of Lenden and Anthony Rhodes, alongside some newcomers such as Yuun Kim and Trey Opp.

Just a reminder, registration is still open and will remain open throughout the league! Entry fee is $10. Late entrants joining after round two can enter for $5. First and second place prizes will be split in the event of ties.

Time-control: G/25;+5.
Rounds: one round per week @ 8 pm MST; four rounds total.

This past Summer League, we saw some competitive match-ups between all players, a surprise entry of a National Master, and a toss-up for first place in the final round between four players!
