Happy Fall, everyone! October is here, and we’re in week two of our Fall Chess League! Below are the current standings:

Just a reminder that we’ll be meeting every Friday for casual games on league days. However, we will NOT be meeting up on Halloween (10/31).
Club Events:
- (Every Friday @ 7 pm) Weekly Casual Meetup: Bring a board or find an open seat for free, casual games of chess! Perfect for beginners and club players to play and practice. *Halloween Note*: We will NOT be meeting on 10/31.
When: Every Friday from 7 pm – 9 pm
Where: Kneader's Bakery & Café (28 State St #235, Salt Lake City, UT 84111)
*League Note*: We will continue to host casual meetups even on league days.
- (10/3 – 10/17) 2025 CCC Fall Chess League (USCF-rated): We’re on week two of our four-week chess league. Registration is still open if you’d like to enter late! The entry fee is $10 and drops to $5 after round two.
Play one round a night, with each game played at the dual-rated time control of g/25;+5.
October Dates:
(10/3) – Round two @ 8 pm
(10/10) – Round three @ 8 pm
(10/17) – Round four @ 8 pm

- (10/24) CCC October Quick Tournament: On 10/24 @ 7 pm, join us for a four-round tournament with G/10+5 games per round!
