CHEXX PISTOLS’ “HOLY GRAIL TOURNEY” FINALLY ENDS!

To all the combatants of the Chexx Pistols’ Holy Grail Tournament… yes, the long and bloody siege is finally over!!! The spoils have gone to the victors of this magnificent marathon mallee!!!

The Golden Grail was awarded to @hankmagic! From beginning to strong end, @hankmagic proved himself worthy of this rarest of prizes! 🎉HIP-HIP, HUZZAH!!!🎉 🥳

The Silver Grail went to @jgruiz, who surprised many with his continual improvement throughout the lengthy tourney with his amazing game accuracy. 🎉CONGRATULATIONS!🎉🤝😊

And third, but certainly not least, @Brewfessor of the Chexx Pistols clan worthily won the Bronze with his ever-strong chess play. 🎉HIP-HIP, HUZZAH!!! 🎉🍻🥳

A special, honorable mention must be made for @alena_str, who due to prior OTB City Championship commitments, had to abandon her final, important games. ☹️ She remains a gracious and deserving player and finalist of our competition. Who knows what would have happened had @alena_str remained??? 🤔

Thank you to all the 56 players and the 354 tactical battles they waged in hopes of golden glory! You all have my full respect and admiration for your tenacity and chess prowess…

Let’s do this again, after a well-deserved rest and preparation for the next, ”Battle for the Holy Grail!,” shall we?
