GUIDELINES FOR PLAYING IN THE SPEED VOTE CHESS TOURNAMENT.
All team schedules and list of contacts can be found here.
http://www.chess.com/groups/forumview/svc-season-4-schedule-and-contact-information2
November games must be played in November, not later. December games in December etc. etc.
It is up to each team's admin to contact their opponent early in the month and to negotiate a date and time to play. The default days are Saturdays at 1300GMT, but admins may request to play on a different day of the week and/or a different time. But if 2 teams cannot agree on any date or time then they are to let us know in the group notes and we will step in and force a scheduled day and time to play, which will always be the last Saturday of the month at 1300GMT. Whichever team does not turn up will lose by forfeit.
Admins should advise their opponent if they will be sending the challenge so it's clear which team is sending it. You need to send the challenge approx. 1/2 hour before the scheduled time. If you send it 1 minute after the schedule time then both teams have to wait a whole hour to play as the matches start on the hour. Please don't send the challenges before an hour before it's due to start because if any other group admins accept the challenge early then the game will start early and an admin who is not involved in speed chess could accidentally accept it and one or both teams may not be ready as it will start before the agreed time. If a team is more than 1 hour late to accept the challenge then the other team has the right to claim the win by forfeit as long as they can provide evidence of the agreement made to start on that date and time, but that is up to their own discretion, they can choose to still play even though the game is late or claim the win by forfeit. If you do play then you can no longer make the claim obviously. We request once the agreement is made that you let us know in the forum that is for that month's games. e.g. for November you advise here:

Challenges need to be set to RANDOM and 10 MIN MOVES. There will be no rematches for draws until we get to the playoffs.
Because of Christmas being a very busy period for many we encourage all admins to try to negotiate as soon as possible a date to play in December, don't leave it too late!
Happy to answer any questions anyone has.
Cheers, and good luck, enjoy your games!
