Club Newsletter: December 25

Happy Holidays! We look forward to meeting up again! If you don't have any big plans, feel free to come by.

Upcoming Club Events:

- (Fridays @ 7 pm) Weekly Casual Meetup – Bring a board or find an open seat. Perfect for beginners and club players to play and practice!

Notes:
I will not be attending on 12/5, but feel free to meet on this day. Be sure to bring a chess set!

- (12/12) CCC Holiday Quads!- City Creek Chess would like to accommodate players who are looking to play competitively by hosting a Holiday Quad tournament!

Utah Chess Association & Community:

- (12/6/2025) Holiday Team Championships 5– On 12/6, find a partner and team up in this two-player team chess tournament!

- (1/31/2026) Utah State Elementary Chess Championship! – This tournament is only open to kids in grades K-6. If your child meets this requirement, they are eligible to compete in this state tournament!
