Congratulations for March 5

Congratulations to my amazing students!
~Adithya Ganesh who defeated two higher rated opponents in the Ladder event on Saturday. He gained 67 rating points and reached a new high of 1271!!
~Avyukt Gupta who defeated an opponent rated 400+ higher than him and drew another one at the St. Louis Place Chess Club event (run by Jeffrey Vollmer) on Saturday. He gained almost 100 rating points and reached a new rating high of 1240!!
~Soham Gadi who finished second in his grade in the Gateway Scholastic tournament, defeated a higher-rated opponent and reached a new rating high!
~Aryan Bezawada who finished fifth in his grade in the Gateway Scholastic tournament

~Ishaan Sinha who drew against an opponent rated 300+ higher than him and gained rating!
~Hithesh Manojkumar who won all his games in the Thursday night tournament hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club
