Congratulations to my students for great performances last weekend:~Liam Goddard who defeated a higher-rated opponent, tied for second place in his section, reached a new rating high of 1403, and won some money in the process~James Liu, who crossed 1000, tied for third in his section, and also won some money ~Max Xu, who played in two different tournaments, gaining rating in both, winning money, and defeating a former Missouri High School champion

They both went undefeated!! They tied for first in Class C (Under 1600)!! They each won $150!! Joshua gained 97 points and reached a new high of 1497!! Sudeep gained 61 points and reached a new high of 1514!!  They are both amazing!!
