Controversy with name

Ever since we changed the name, there has been a lot of controversy, and we lost 2 members, I think due to this. First of all the reason for the change is that it's now our new brand name. Me and Abhinav are both stationed in San Jose, and that's our club name. It doesn't have to be where everyone lives, and it doesn't restrict anyone as well. We are working on a website for it. Please don't leave the club if your reason is the name. There are many clubs who have become online, they also have a stationed city. We are thinking of this like a company, just like bay area chess, charlotte chess center etc.

For our old name, it was good, but it shouldn't feel like it restricts people, it's open to everyone. The other name was also almost matching the member's only club, and we want to provide more than just free rated events.
