Daniel Naroditsky Dead at 29

You've heard his name somewhere - likely everywhere. The highly accomplished young Grandmaster, Daniel Naroditsky, is dead at just 29. Throughout his chess career, he taught, inspired, and made others smile through his hilarious streams, in-depth commentary, and chess learning content.

Daniel was born on November 9th, 1995 and attended Stanford University. He earned the title of grandmaster at age 18 in 2013. He had since acquired over 340,000 followers on social media and was influential to the spread of chess in the younger generation. 

His death was announced by his family this afternoon. They requested privacy, and no cause of death was provided.
