Ding Liren wins, but the DHLC Tourney #6 (60+30) marches on ....
Congratulations to Ding Liren, the 17th World Chess Champion!
While Ding and Nepo finished up the World Chess Championship tournament, with Ding winning the 4th game of the tiebreaker of the WCC, the DHLC Tourney #6 (60+30) marches into the 4th round. And we have just as exciting a tournament here as they did in Astana.
Every single group is still up for grabs, and while this round may make some room in the standings it still won't make a clear leader in any group.
Just a reminder, here is a link to the info from the first round about rules and other things (still trying to figure out a good way to keep that in one place): https://www.chess.com/news/view/tourney6?page=2
I will put the player links at the bottom of the announcement again, to make it convenient to message your opponent.
Since everyone really just wants to play I'll post the pairings and standing and let the negotiations begin.
