Dutch Defense: Stonewall Variation Beat 2000+rated players with this simple system
Hello there again club mates and fellow chess enthusiasts,
This is in response to the few readers who had seen the prequel of this post & requested how the Stonewall is played with the black pieces. So without further ado let's begin..
The Dutch: Stonewall Variation has a pawn structure as shown below (it's basically the reverse of what you have with the white pieces). The problem bishop on c8 is usually black's critical dilemma but even the 2000 players would 'aid' at times by capturing the pawn on d5, with cxd5 (thus black usually recaptures with his e-pawn, exd5)
If it's good enough for the World Champ to play the dutch from time to time, it's more than good enough for me to play it too!! =P Hope you guys enjoyed this one.
Let me know what you think about it and hope to see you try it out with your games! All the best!
