Eight Graduates Don VCC Ribbons

    Seniors Richard Collins, Jasin Lucas, Ilija Milicic, Jared Morgan, Huyen Nguyen, Tin Nguyen, Jaden Thompson, and Thinh Tran recently graduated in the Northeast High School class of 2023 as proud Viking Chess Club members with their green and gold VCC ribbons.  This was the largest group of senior members the VCC has ever had!  We caught up with most of them for a group photo at Tropicana Field shortly before commencement exercises.

    Jaden was the VCC’s Senior of the Year.  She served as the club’s knight (Vice President) this year, and the VCC sponsored her participation in the Miss NEHI Pageant.  Jaden and most of these seniors plan to continue their studies at SPC. 

    We wish all eight of our VCC graduates the very best.  Once a Viking chess player, always a Viking chess player!
