Nikolay and Avalon Qualify for Online Championship

Nikolay and Avalon were the top male and female finishers, respectively, in the Viking Chess Club’s Sep. 20 over the board qualifier for the #ChessConnectsUs Championship that is part of Judit Polgar’s Global Chess Festival in October.  In the 10|0, 3-round qualifier, Nikolay was undefeated, and Avalon automatically qualified as the only female participant.  Congratulations and best wishes to both of you!
