Elmo’s Origin: Part One

Wind rushed pash my face, sun shine beaming on my face. The breeze was relaxing, almost cold. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that my window was broken open. There was a brick on the floor. There was a piece of paper on the brick. I peered at I managed to realize what it said. “RUN” so I did. I ran. I dove through my broken window and went to the back of my house. This is where I kept the weapons. I got my main weapon, which is a katana. Two of them to be precise. I look around and see the creature. It is hideous. I decide to name it Bob. I ran towards Bob. He stood there looking down at me. He looked beguiled. Him standing there was a blunder.  Now I realize why Bob was standing there. He was holding a grenade. He drops the grenade and walks away.

Everyones parents taught them a couple of things. One of them is 3 beeps. You hear 3 beeps. When a grenade is set off, you have 3 beeps until it goes off.

I run to the Bob and decapitates him. Beheads him. Pretty sad. I really liked Bob.  Beep. I see 2 people huddled under the stairs. It’s my parents. Beep. I run at them. I don’t  know what I’m trying to do but whatever it is it’s too late. Beep.

 My eyes open. My ears are ringing. The ground beneath me sprinkled with shattered glass. Blood everywhere. Children crying. I looked around, all I saw was carnage. I look to see my parents but they are… gone. You may think that I mean they are dead but no. There is no corpses. No remains. No nothing. They got out. They had to.

I look around again. The corpse of Bob is gone. I killed him. “How in the freakin hell…” Bob left one thing behind. A knife. It had some unreadable transcript on it. I slid it my vest pocket and walked of set. Since the directors were killed while Bob was having his little temper tantrum, I just walked out of my childhood home. And kiddos, that’s the story of how I left my childhood home. Sesame Street.
