End the game or continue?
The Black Team has now flagged multiple times. @daanb100 has been the sole Black Team member to vote for the last four turns / eight days.
The White Team has also seen a decrease in interest. For the last several turns @porkchops6 and I have analyzed together and then voted with no input from the rest of our team.
While 36 players signed up for a team, only 14 of those players have voted for a move a single time (8 white team voters, 6 black team voters). And for the last four turns there have only been 3 voters total (@daanb100, @porkchops6, and I).
I'm seeking feedback on what to do about this situation.
Are those who are still active happy to finish the game even if participation remains this low?
If not, should we explore ways to increase participation? (Any ideas are welcome.)
I was very excited to have this team game, but I must admit that the lack of participation we've seem after many people initially said they were interested has been disappointing. While I would like to finish the game, if others have lost enthusiasm for it, I'm open to ending it.
Alternatively, if there is not enough interest to continue and if mutually agreeing to abandon the game is unsatisfying, we could instead schedule a time to have a live match finish to the game (Something like a 30 | 15 casual game played between captains of each team some weekend when people are available, with team discussion either via voice chat or chess.com's live chat feature, which I believe everyone can access and use during a game).
Thoughts?
