Dear Chess Friends!

This Sunday I conducted the webinar called "How to Play Albin-Blackburne Gambit (with Black)", where we explored the origins of the Albin-Blackburne Gambit, a sharp and dynamic choice for Black that dates back to the 19th century. We learned how this gambit, starting with 3...Nd7 in the Philidor Defense, leads to rich, tactical positions where White is often unprepared and prone to making mistakes.

We also discussed how this opening can be particularly effective in blitz games, where the rapid pace forces your opponent into unfamiliar territory, giving you the upper hand.
We delved into how the Albin-Blackburne Gambit can catch your opponent off guard, providing you with both a psychological and tactical advantage from the very first moves. By reviewing several critical lines, we emphasized the importance of navigating the complex middlegame positions that arise, ensuring you maintain pressure and are ready to exploit any inaccuracies by White. Moreover, we touched on strategic applications of this gambit, highlighting when and how to incorporate it into your repertoire, especially in faster time controls where quick decision-making is crucial.
For those who missed it or want to revise the material, the recording is now available:

You also asked for the PGNs. So here they are, you can simply download it from here:
