Webinar "Winning Strategies in Equal Positions"
Dear Chess Friends!
This Sunday I will conduct the webinar called "Winning Strategies in Equal Positions", where we will delve into the subtle art of positional maneuvering — a key component of chess mastery. Just like a siege where a direct attack would be too costly, positional maneuvering allows you to outlast and outthink your opponent, leading to victories in positions that seem equal or even slightly unfavorable.
This webinar will focus on the precise technique of rocking a position — a method of creating imbalances and opportunities to play for a win, even when the game appears to be evenly matched. By rocking the position, you can maintain the nature of the game while gradually building up pressure, tiring out your opponent, and setting up chances to turn the tide in your favor.
🗓 Date: 09/08
⏰ Time: 11 a.m. EDT, 4 p.m. UK time, 5 p.m. CET
In this webinar, you will learn:
- How to effectively use positional maneuvering to gain the upper hand in equal or slightly worse positions
- Key strategies for maintaining pressure and wearing down your opponent over time
- Techniques for preparing decisive blows, favorable exchanges, and capitalizing on opponent mistakes
- Insights from the games of world champions, demonstrating how they successfully executed these strategies
- The importance of studying master games and practicing in equal positions to avoid falling into traps yourself
Join us to sharpen your skills, learn from the masters, and become adept at turning equal positions into winning ones.
The webinar will be interactive, so we start with theoretical explanation about the topic, and then move into practice. You will also have an opportunity to play a Simul with me from a certain position. Finally, to consolidate the material, we will analyze several games that we played.
