Halloween Gambit

Happy Halloween! Today I will be sharing with you the Halloween Gambit. The line is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nxe5. It was called the Halloween Gambit because when people played it, their opponent would be spooked. The point of the gambit is that white sacrifices his knight for massive central control. After Black recaptures with 4. ...Nxe5, white will follow with 5. d4. White is going to keep attacking the knights by pushing the pawns. The end result is white has sacrificed a knight for a lot of control. It is risky but if played well, you have good chances. Hope you guys enjoy!!!!!!
