Important message for Bernal chess players about Progressive Grounds cafe

It’s just come to my attention that we need to do a better job of supporting our generous hosts at Progressive Grounds. If we want to keep playing there, the partnership needs to benefit them as well as us — and currently we’re actually hurting their business. We’re using their space, not buying much, and displacing their regular paying customers. So when you come to play on Saturdays, please make a significant purchase, tip well, and do NOT bring in outside food. (Seems obvious, but apparently some people do this.) Let’s make our game days a win-win for everyone.
