[Important] Revised Vote chess rules

[Edited Vote chess guidelines]

Borrowed heavily from SmyslovFan and LovelandCo's set of rules.

All players participating in vote chess should try to follow the following guidelines. These are applicable only for games with 2 days or more . Faster game players (1 day) do not need to follow these rules:

Rules:

• Voting must be only done on the last day of alloted time. (i.e last 24 hrs)
• Only moves that have been part of the discussion are eligible to be voted on.If you have a good idea let other consider it also.

  Your ideas give rise to other ideas and promotes more through analysis.

• When you vote post it to the comment section. The easiest way to do this is to cut and paste the vote report.

• Persistent voting for draws in an unclear / winning / losing position is not encouraged.

• No cheating. The only computer aid allowed is the use of databases.
• Respect each other.
• Disagreements are encouraged, personal attacks are not!

Duties of a captain (as given by SmyslovFan)

The key criteria for a good captain isn't how strong a player is, but the ability to :

• be present and pay attention to the clock on a regular basis
• follow the conversation and determine when there's a consensus and when there needs to be a split vote
• remind players to follow the guidelines without having to resort to threats of expulsion
• defuse tension between players
