It was set to be a thriller, but England won comfortably.

Watching the game myself, I quickly went to bed after the first session as when the English were 0 wickets down it was done and dusted. India needed to take early wickets and they simply didn't. After a grand 188 run partnership between Duckett and Crawley the English finally lost their first, Crawley gone for a 65 which was a really good 65 bouncing back from his first innings 4.

Pope fell cheaply before Duckett wacked his way to 149. Thakur then gave the India's some hope with 2 wickets in 2 balls, first the previously mentioned Duckett and then Brook got a golden duck. Root made 53 not out, Stokes was dismissed for 33 and Jamie Smith hit the winning runs with a 6 after his knock of 44 not out.

Major alarm bells ringing for India now.
