Join the learn-as-you-go challenges!

After a difficult period of time in caregiving, I can now return for a good period of time to help you and me in our joint chess improvement.  Thank you for your incredible patience.  

We have started some inter-group matches that can help individuals grasp basics necessary for chess improvement.  Designed for your current level of play based on the "daily" ratings, these tournaments can help you identify areas in your game that are key to advancing to the next levels. 

We will use actual game scenarios, puzzles and material from some of the best teachers in the game.  As you might expect, Dan Heisman has many great improvement books and articles that we can uncover for our particular needs.

All that is needed?  You!  Please participate.  We should break down the areas of skill into 3 divisions:  Under 1200, between 1200 and 1500, 1500 - 1800 and if requested...over 1800.

I might add a plea for some help to identify individual successes, challenges and future opportunities!

Most of these inter-group tourneys are by invitation only!  It is difficult to find them after you discard your messages.  Let me know if you need another invile!
