(G)I-DLE (아이들 / [여자]아이들) is a is a girl group under Cube Entertainment that debuted on May 2nd, 2018. They currently consist of 5 members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua, with main dancer Soojin having left the group in August 2021.
Soyeon (23) is the group leader / main rapper, Miyeon (25) and Minnie (24) the main vocalists, Yuqi (22) lead dancer, and Shuhua (22) the maknae vocalist. Soyeon, Miyeon and Soojin are Korean, while Minnie is Thai, Yuqi is Chinese, and Shuhua is Taiwanese.
(G)I-dle have released one studio album and six EPs; their 2020 single album Dumdi Dumdi becoming the second best-selling single album by a girl group of all time.
The members are directly involved in the creation of their music; Soyeon having written and produced a majority of the group's songs, with Minnie and Yuqi also co-writing numerous album tracks. [wiki]
