Instead, click here to enter the tournament group and join. The New Participants who wish to participate in any other slow LIVE tournaments must first successfully* complete such a Qualification Tournament. Note that if you are not eligible to participate (see below), access will be denied.
*(Meaning that you participate in each round, that you play at least one game, that you do not forfeit any game and that you scrupulously observe our Negotiating Protocol.)

Technical Specifications

- First round: Apr 18 - 26
- Last round: May 2 - 10
- Time control: 45|45 in LIVE Chess (click here to see where we play!) on Chess.com;
- Opened to all players? Yes. A Qualified Player Section (QPS) will be reserved for the Veteran / Qualified Players;
- Type: negotiated (meaning that the paired players must agree on a common suitable starting for their game);
- Playing period; one (1) game per week;
- Checking-in? No. This means that the players will be automatically paired for each round. When unavailable, you need to request a BYE in advance in order to avoid forfeit losses and a possible disqualification / suspension;
