Library Swiss and Thursday night Swiss

Another great turnout Tuesday afternoon! We got a new local player as well as Karrie's sister visiting from Japan to play with us to make a total of 15 participants! Congrats to Austin for his perfect performance scoring 3/3 points!
We had lots of exhibition games after the tournament as well as Chase and I taught the kids the basics of the London System and the King's Indian Defense; openings that are easy to understand and have the kids reinforcing good habits such as central control and leaving the queen alone for a few turns!
I've moved the online swiss back to Thursday evening (tonight) as that was the best turnout we've had. I'm still trying to get the timing right for that, there are a lot of schedule conflicts out there. If you're interested in joining, here's the link:
