Lore Chapter One: Origins

Once there was nothing. Then there was something. The first universe was formed. And that is where our story begins. Kermit was one of the first born into the universe. This universe will be designated as Universe-1. Universe one was quickly taken over by the supposed higher power. There was one thing in control of it all. Everyone knew who it was but at the same time had no idea. His name was “The Leader”. Universe-1 was a Utopian Society. Everyone followed the rules. If you didn’t, you leave. No one knew where you went. Kermit was one of these people. Everyday he went to work, and slept. Nothing more nothing less. But one day, it was his time to be paired up with his spouse. Kermit got paired up with the most beautiful thing ever. They loved each other dearly. One day, they had a son. But still. Everyday the same. Work, eat, sleep. Work, eat, sleep. Work, eat, sleep.

One day, something odd happened. Kermit saw something, and then everyone else saw it too. It was a light and it kept on growing. Larger and larger. Kermit soon realized that they needed to run. He grabbed his wife and son and ran. Ran as fast as he could. He couldn’t outrun the light. It would take him. It would take them. But then time froze. Everything stopped, except him. He blinked and then he was in a dark abyss. He could see nothing except a silhouette. A ginormous silhouette of a hooded figure. The hooded figure then spoke.  “You have been chosen. Don’t fail me.” Before Kermit got a chance to speak he blinked and he was back. The light was still coming. Kermit, with his wife and son. Kermit didn’t know what to do. So he grabbed his wife and son, as the light came closer. And closer. Kermit gave them one last hug. And then Kermit closed his eyes, as the light took him.
