My students rule!!

Congratulations to my amazing students for great performances in the Thanksgiving tournament!!
~Max Xu who played in the highest section, defeated a higher-rated opponent and reached a new rating high of 1822
~Samuel Lu who tied for second place out of 36 people in the U2000 section, reached a new rating high of 1725 and won $750
~Mark Li who went undefeated, drew against 3 higher-rated opponents, and raised his rating to 1647!
~Joshua Gu who defeated one high-rated opponent and drew another. He raised his rating to 1479!
~Alvin He won his section, finished clear first out of 39 people, reached a new rating high of 1425 and won $750!!
~Ethan Li tied for second place in that same section! He defeated 4 much higher-rated opponents, raised his rating by 300 points to a new high of 1104! And won several hundred dollars!!
~Yash Shelar who defeated 3 higher-rated opponents, raised his rating by 150+ points, and reached a new high of 1204!
~Evan Jin who finished with a winning record and gained rating!
