My tips for being a 1200 (2) how to attack
hello guys long time no see! Today I’m going to post how to attack like a 1200! Well the most important thing to do this is that you need have some good plans in chess! Yes very good plan that you think you can crush your opponent with! And so if you want to win a chess game, I recommend you to control the Center first! Here is a picture!
In this position white is up 2.37 points! Why because it’s controlling the centre! But now you might be wondering why is it good to control the centre. Well that’s because your pieces are out of their original square and they can work together now, for example here!
Here look at this position, white is threatening so much things just because their pieces are working together and they have controlled the Center completely! Here is how white attacks!
Now if their bishop takes your bishop, make sure to put the knight there! Why? Because you knight is absolutely untakeable! Protected by the pawn no pieces more than knight or pawns can take it! Therefore you knight is very useful there! And can stay there for the rest of the game if there’s no pawn break from the opponent or trading with your opponent’s knight! This is how the position continues!
Now the black’s position is absolutely locked! Almost no pawns can even move here! Or else white is going to win some material! This is how chess works, when your pieces come out, they can attack and defend more easily, if they’re blocked by any pawns! Then they can control less squared! The winning of a game usually depends on three principals. First plans(who can have better and faster plan and use it on the opponent) second calculating(you can calculate if a trade is good or not, or maybe when you finished the trade, although it’s good for you, you may get checkmated at the end!) third experience (when you play a lot of chess, you can literally use your experience to see if you’re in danger or not, and you know how to defend this position or attack!) Also sometimes you can say the third one as luck! (Sometimes you may not notice the checkmate but defended it without noticing or you maybe you just made a brilliant move without realising, or maybe your opponent made a blunder! This is all luck)
In conclusion, I just want to say that when you’re an intermediate player, you’re not just playing an opening line and go on with it, you should play several lines and create new plans at a time! Also pin is a good way of attack as well!😊 Have a nice day guys, and see you later!
