Description:
Swiss System in 3 sections. Players compete only against players in their own sections, Elementary or High School or Open
Byes for any single round must be requested before the end of the first round. Only one half-point bye is allowed per player. Additional missed rounds receive no points. All other rules/regulations shall be in accordance with the USCF Rulebook.
Schedule:
- Elementary; G/45+5, 5-SS, (9:00am, 10:45am, 12:30pm, 2:15pm, 4:00pm)
- High School; G/60+5, 4-SS, (9:00am, 11:15am, 1:30pm, 3:45pm)
- Open: G/60+5, 4-SS, (9:00am, 11:15am, 1:30pm, 3:45pm)
Prizes:
- 3 Elementary Team Trophies
- 3 High School Team Trophies
- 5 Individual Trophies for each scholastic section
- Open Prize Fund of $400 Guaranteed, 1st $150, 2nd 100, 3rd $60, Top U1600 $60, Top Unrated $30.
Tournament Entry Fees:
- Scholastic: $10 before 10/06/2021, $15 thereafter.
- $100 school limit on entries submitted by the school/coach.
- OPEN: $20 before 10/6/2021, $25.00 after.
USCF membership is required, full USCF & WVCA memberships may be purchased at registration new or expired October or before as required
